Chipotle Black Bean Hummus

Have you tried bean hummus yet - that wasn't garbanzo beans haha? One of my favorite things about hummus, is that it can really be made out of any kind of legume and there are so many flavors! This one is a spicy southwestern flavored hummus that I am LOVING currently!

Ingredients:

one can of black beans (rinsed and drained)

1/4 cup chipotle in adobo

1 tbs lime juice

2 cloves garlic

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions:

Hummus is easy! Just drop all of your ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth! You can slowly add a little more water or lime juice to get a smoother consistency if needed or desired! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 5-6 days!

Serving Suggestion:

I put some of this hummus on a bell pepper "sandwich" - big TikTok trend - and it was so yummy! Just slice a bell pepper in half and cut out the seeds and center part, then fill with hummus, avocado, cilantro, kale, tomato, black olives, and salsa! Yummy!
