Coconut Chai Granola

My granola making obsession meets my loooove for chai to bring you this tasty granola recipe! My favorite way to eat it has been on an apple, banana, peach, and cinnamon smoothie, but let me know how you like to eat it! Just snap a pic for insta and tag @simply__radishing for a feature!

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 walnut pieces

1/2 cup shredded coconut

2 tbs unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 1/2 tsp chai spice blend *

1/2 tsp vanilla extract


*My Perfect Chai Spice Blend:

2 teaspoons ground cardamom

2 teaspoons ground allspice

2 teaspoons ground nutmeg

4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoon ground cloves

6 teaspoons ground ginger

store in an airtight container and enjoy!


Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.

  2. Spread parchment paper on a large baking sheet.

  3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl - this can get messy!

  4. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 16-18 minutes. The granola should brown but not burn,

  6. Let it sit until completely cool - this is how you achieve maximum crunch!

  7. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
