In the past year or so, I made the commitment to begin looking a little further into products I buy and companies I support to be a more ethical consumer. I compiled a list of some products that have helped me to reduce waste from companies I like that promote sustainability!
I think that there are tons of other little changes we can make to create a more sustainable world as well! I usually wash out and save jars to use for storage, packed lunches, and cups. Another super easy and popular way to reduce waste is taking your own bags to the store. Public Goods Reusable Food Storage Wrappers - I used to try to put all my half cut up produce into tupperware to avoid using plastic wrap but it took up soooo much space in my fridge. Hemp Coffee Filter - I ordered this coffee filter on Amazon for my pour over coffee maker and its great! Super easy to clean and also saves me money on buying coffee filters!
Bamboo Plates and Bamboo Bowls - I got these for our trip out to Colorado because they won't break during travel and they are bio-degradable! They are good quality and microwave safe!
Bamboo sponges - Another product I ordered from Amazon and love - these work just as well as normal sponges and will bio-degrade when you're finished with them!
Coconut Bowls and Straws - I obviously have to give a shoutout to this company because they have a huge commitment to sustainability.
