I always make my own granola, because its so much cheaper and healthier than store bought... and its so easy! This has been my go-to recipe recently and I've been LOVING it!
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup unsweet applesauce
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
Here you'll see my fav way to eat granola - with some fruit (mango, banana, and pomegranate seeds) and some almond milk!
I also use this granola to top my smoothie bowls and yogurt bowls!
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
3. Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl and mix together - this will get a little messy!
4. Spread in a thin layer across the two baking sheets.
5. Bake for 15 minutes, then allow the granola to sit for about an hour so it can get crunchy. Store in an airtight container.
